Kateryna Zesselska ( Ukrainian Катерина Цесельська , Russian Екатерина Цесельская Jekaterina Zesselskaja , also Kateryna Tseselska ; born September 16, 1989 ) is a Ukrainian biathlete and former cross-country skier .

Kateryna Zesselska was internationally active as a cross-country skier from the beginning of 2006 to the beginning of 2010. At first she took part in lower class FIS races. The first highlight was the 2007 Winter Universiade in Pragelato , where the Ukrainian finished 54th in the 5 km freestyle and 31st in the freestyle sprint. This was followed by the European Youth Olympic Festival in Jaca , where Zesselska was ninth over 5 kilometers classic and 20th over 7.5 kilometers freestyle. A month later, the Nordic Junior World Championships followed in Tarvisio , where she was 40th in the 5km freestyle and 38th in the pursuit. A year later, at the Junior World Championships in Mals , she finished 28th in the freestyle sprint, 41 over 5 kilometers in classic and 34 over 10 kilometers in freestyle. In Kuusamo Zesselska debuted in November 2008 in a classic sprint race in the FIS Cross-Country World Cup and was 72. Two other bets on the World Cup followed'm at the end in La Clusaz , a fourth a year later in Kuusamo. She did not come close to the points. In Yabuli she took part again in the Winter Universiade 2009 and came in 21 over 15 kilometers classic, 20 in the pursuit, ten in freestyle sprint and 23 over 5 kilometers freestyle. In the cross-country skiing Eastern Europe Cup she achieved almost ten top ten results.

For the 2010/11 season , Zesselska switched to biathlon. In Beitostølen she made her debut in a sprint in the IBU Cup and was 58 in her first race. In the following sprint, she finished 39th in the points. She achieved her best result so far in 2011 with a 14th place in a pursuit race in Obertilliach . The first championship was the 2011 European Biathlon Championships in Ridnaun . Zesselska came in 37th in the individual, was taken 43rd in the sprint and in the pursuit as a lapped runner out of the race.
