Katharina Krüger (born January 3, 1990 in Berlin-Zehlendorf ) is a German wheelchair tennis player . She competes in singles and doubles.

Career

Since its birth, the student who Rehabilitation Education a paraplegic due to spina bifida . She plays for SV Zehlendorfer Wespen. She is trained by Karsten Weigelt and Akhem Khan.

At the Summer Paralympics 2008 she reached the last sixteen, where she lost to the later gold medalist Esther Vergeer from the Netherlands . Also in 2012 she failed in the second round to Esther Vergeer. And 2016 was the last sixteen, this time against Huang Huimin.

In 2014 she reached the finals in the double competition of the Wheelchair Tennis Masters for the first time .
