Katharina Maillard
Katharina Maillard (born November 3, 1922 in Berlin ; † February 24, 2010 in Stuttgart ) also Katja Maillard , from 1952 Katja Greve , was a German musician and illustrator.
Life
Katja Maillard was a daughter of the painter Willi Maillard , a painter from the Free Secession directed by Max Liebermann and professor at the Art Academy in Berlin and Cläre Maillard- Zechlin.
She was best known in the 1950s and 1960s as a children's book illustrator ( Hanselmann travels around the world with James Krüss , children today is a weekly market ) and through working with her aunt, the art and craft teacher Ruth Zechlin . In 1952 she married the poet and later long-time director of the library of the German Literature Archive in Marbach Ludwig Greve .
The Meersburg painter Maria Kegel-Maillard was the older sister of Katharina Maillard.
