Katharina Hentschel
Catherine Hentschel (* 4. July 1983 in Berlin as Katharina Scholz ) is a German field hockey player .
She started at the Berliner Sport-Club and then moved to the Berliner HC , with which she became German youth champion four times. After an interlude at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona , she switched to law school in Munich, where the striker competed for the Munich SC .
In 2000 and 2001, Hentschel was U18 European champion, and in 2004 second at the U21 European championship. In 2005 she made her debut in the German national hockey team , with which she was runner- up at the 2005 European Championship. In 2006 she won the FIH Champions Trophy with the German team , and in 2007 the team in Manchester won the European Championship .
On the occasion of the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, like her team colleague Fanny Rinne in 2004, she had herself photographed for Playboy .
Katharina Scholz made a total of 68 international matches for Germany.
