Kati Winter (born October 15, 1989 in Potsdam ) is a German web video producer , streamer , radio play speaker , author and influencer .

Life

Kati Winter became known through the YouTube channels she operates, “Kati Winter Creepypastas & Audiobooks” and “Kati Winter Märchenwelt”, on which she primarily uploads settings of creepy pastas and fairy tales .

Kati Winter was born the daughter of a teacher couple and grew up bilingually ( German and Russian ).

She began her career when she wrote her first novel “ Voyeur ” at the age of 19 and published it on YouTube in audio form . She became aware of Creepypastas through her audience and has been running Creeypasta , radio play and audio book channels on YouTube ever since . Thematically, it mainly covers the genres of horror , science fiction and fantasy .

After a discontinued training as a health and nurse , Kati Winter did a double bachelor's degree in psychology and German and then a master's in German. Both works dealt with their second favorite and main topic: fairy tales (also less well-known fairy tales are read out here).

Since June 22, 2018 she has been married to the colleague and operator of the channel “ SCP Archive”, known as “The Archivist”. The couple only lived in Bavaria , but since moving back to their home in Saxony-Anhalt .
