Katja Ulbrich (born January 21, 1988 in Bayreuth ) is a German inline speed skater .

Life

She has been on rollers since 1996. Her home club is the Bayreuth Turnerschaft. At the age of twelve she took part in the Franconian Switzerland Marathon for the first time and won this competition for the first time two years later. Since then she has won eleven times on this route. She holds the best time for the women’s speed skaters with a time of 1:13 hours.

Ulbrich's current club is TSV Lenting .

Ulbrich has been a teacher at the Gymnasium Gaimersheim since 2016 and teaches mathematics and sports.

Since 2018 she has been actively racing in the cycling department of TSV Gaimersheim

  • Bavarian champion in the women's active class over 300 m, 500 m, 5000 m and 1500 m. In the active / combo season she was also the Bavarian winner together with Patrik Knopf and Harald Hertrich
