Katrin Fedrowitz

Katrin Fedrowitz (* 13. January 1973 in Lüneburg ) is a German politician of the SPD. From 2016 to 2017 she was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein .

Life and volunteering

After attending secondary school, Fedrowitz completed training as a ReNo assistant from 1989 to 1992 . From 1992 to 1997 she worked as a paralegal and from 1995 to 1998 she trained alongside her job at the Berlin Chamber of Lawyers and Notaries to become an office manager in the legal and notary field. Since 1997 she has been working as an office manager in the legal and notary sector; since 2016 she has been working part-time.

Fedrowitz joined the SPD in 2001. She has been chairwoman of the SPD local association Norderstedt since 2010 and deputy chairwoman of the SPD district association Bad Segeberg since 2015 . In 2015 she became a member of the state party council of the SPD Schleswig-Holstein .

Political electoral offices

Fedrowitz was initially a bourgeois member of the SPD parliamentary group in the Norderstedt city council from 2002 to 2006 , but moved up as a full member of the Norderstedt city council in 2006 and has been the deputy chairwoman of the SPD parliamentary group there since 2011. As such, she acts in the committees as 1st vice-chairman of the main committee and as 2nd vice-chairman of the committee for schools and sport. She has also been a voluntary member of the supervisory board of Education-Education-Care in Norderstedt gGmbH since 2013 and a member of the supervisory board of the development and property company Norderstedt mbH & Co KG and its general partner GmbH since 2015.

In the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2012 , she ran in constituency 28 (Norderstedt) , but won no direct mandate with 33.7% of the votes, nor was she able to enter the state parliament via the SPD state list. On January 4, 2016, however, she replaced the resigned MP Olaf Schulze via the state list in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament. There she was a member of the economic committee, the petitions committee and the committee for cooperation between the states of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg.

In the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2017 , she ran again in constituency 27 (Norderstedt), but won 34.1% of the votes neither directly nor was she able to enter the state parliament via the SPD state list.
