The Kauhaneva-Pohjakangas National Park ( Finnish Kauhanevan – Pohjankankaan kansallispuisto ) is a national park established in 1982 in western Finland .
The 57 km² national park is located in the area of the municipalities of Kauhajoki and Karvia on the border of the landscapes of South Ostrobothnia and Satakunta . Some adjacent areas are also under nature protection of various degrees. The Kauhaneva-Pohjakangas protected area designated as part of the Natura 2000 program is 68.65 km² in size.
The national park includes forest and moorland areas in the southwest of the Suomenselkä moraines. In the north of the park is its most distinctive moraine, the Esker Pohjakangas. The rest of the park area is quite flat and mostly covered by raised bogs , the largest single bog of which is the eponymous Kauhaneva bog.
