The Torronsuo National Park ( Finnish. Torronsuon kansallispuisto ) is a national park in southern Finland. It lies on the district of Tammela around 140 km northwest of Helsinki . It was founded in 1990 and is maintained by the state forest authority Metsähallitus .

The national park includes the Torronsuo, the largest moorland in southern Finland that is still in its natural state . It is made up of several concentrically growing Plateur rain bogs with the typical Bult-Schlenken relief and is interspersed with thousands of bog eyes . Torronsuo is an important nesting and resting place for many bird species, including many water and wading birds. In addition to the species typical for the region, there are also species that are usually found in the tundra of northern Finland, such as the red-throated diver and the red grouse . In autumn up to 1000 cranes can be found in the moor every yearto rest on their winter train. The butterfly fauna of the moor is also remarkable; Among the 50 or so species to be found here there are some that otherwise only occur in more southern regions, such as Aspitates gilvaria and Limnephilus externus . A population of the rare flying squirrel can be found in the neighboring forests .
