Kawin Thammasatchanan ( Thai : กวิน ท ร์ ธรรม สัจ จา นั น ท์ , born January 26, 1990 in Bangkok ) is a Thai football player in the position of goalkeeper . He has been under contract for Oud-Heverlee Löwen in Division 1B since 2018 (the club was promoted to Division 1A for the 2020/21 season ) in Belgium and is currently on loan to Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in Japan.

Career

His career began in the youth team of FC Raj-Pracha in 2006. Until 2007, he played for the club in the youth team before he made his first appearance for the seniors. After only one game in the seniors, he moved to his current club, Muang Thong United . In the second division of Thailand, the Thailand Division 1 League , he was an immediate regular player and played a major role in the club's promotion to the Thai Premier League at the end of the season. For the new season he remained number one in the team. With his achievements he played a decisive role in winning the first championship of the promoted team. After the season was voted goalkeeper of the year on. He has played a total of 262 games for Muang Thong so far. In 2018 he was signed by the Belgian second division club Oud-Heverlee Löwen . He was sidelined from October 2018 to March 2019 due to an ankle injury. Even after that, he only had one game with the reserve team. From March 2019 he was no longer in the matchday squad.

In mid-February 2020 he was loaned to Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in the Japanese J1 League for one season.

National team

For the national team of Thailand he has played 11 times for the U-19s so far . By Steve Darby , he was in the squad for the 2009 Southeast Asian Games called and there was number 1 on the position of the goalkeeper. At the 40th King's Cup in Nakhon Ratchasima , he made his debut in the senior jersey. The stakes in this tournament are not official.
