Administrative community Eltetal

In the Eltetal administrative community in Thuringia , six communities had come together to handle their administrative business. Until the district reform of Thuringia in 1994 , it was in the Eisenach district , from July 1, 1994 until its dissolution in the Wartburg district . It was named after the Elte valley .

The administrative community was founded on June 19, 1992. The dissolution took place on December 31, 1995.

Member communities were the towns of Eckardtshausen , Etterwind , Förtha , Oberellen , Unterellen and Wolfsburg-Unkeroda .

As of January 1, 1996, the municipalities of Oberellen and Unterellen were incorporated into the new administrative community of Gerstungen . The communities Eckardtshausen and Förtha lost their independence and were incorporated into Marksuhl . Etterzüge became a part of the municipality of Moorgrund . Wolfsburg-Unkeroda became an independent municipality.
