Administrative community Moorgrund

The administrative community Moorgrund was in the Wartburg district in Thuringia. The communities of Moorgrund and Möhra had recently come together in it to carry out their administrative business. It was named after the moorland through which the moor stream flows.

The administrative community was founded on January 31, 1992 and consisted of the independent communities of Gumpelstadt , Waldfisch and Witzelroda (from March 1, 1994 community of Moorgrund ) and Möhra, which were independent until March 1, 1994 . The dissolution took place on November 3, 1994. Effective November 4, 1994, Moorgrund and Möhra were combined with the Kupfersuhl community to form the Moorgrund community.
