history
The administrative community was founded on August 24, 1990. August 1, 1996 Pferdsdorf after Unterbreizbach incorporated and left the administrative community with it. With the Thuringian law on the voluntary reorganization of municipalities belonging to the district in 2013, the administrative community Vacha was transferred to the unified municipality of Vacha.
