The administrative community Creuzburg was in the Wartburg district in Thuringia . The town of Creuzburg (town and district of Scherbda ) and the communities of Krauthausen (with the districts of Pferdsdorf , Spichra , Ütteroda ) and Ifta had come together to handle their administrative business.
history
The administrative community was founded on August 12, 1994.
With the announcement of the resignation of the administrative community chairman Rene Weisheit on June 30, 2012, who was elected mayor of the city of Berka / Werra in the local elections in Thuringia 2012 and took up this office on July 1, 2012, negotiations on the dissolution of the Creuzburg administrative community and a quickest possible accession of the three member municipalities to the neighboring administrative community Mihla . However, the desired merger was not included in the Thuringian law for the voluntary reorganization of districts in 2012. According to the Thuringian law on the voluntary restructuring of municipalities belonging to the district in 2013, the previous member municipalities of the Creuzburg administrative community were assigned to the Mihla administrative community and the Creuzburg administrative community was dissolved on December 31, 2013.
