Location of the former administrative community in the Wartburg district

The town of Stadtlengsfeld and eight municipalities had come together in the administrative community of Dermbach from the Wartburg district in Thuringia to handle their administrative business. The seat of the administrative community was Dermbach , last chairman Werner Gorecki.

history

The administrative community was formed on May 1, 1992 from the communities of Dermbach and Zella / Rhön. In 1994 it was expanded to include the communities of Neidhartshausen, Wiesenthal, Urnshausen and Brunnhartshausen, Oechsen and Weilar. On December 31, 2013, the city of Stadtlengsfeld joined the administrative community. As part of the Thuringia regional reform in 2018 and 2019 , the administrative community was dissolved on January 1, 2019. Brunnhartshausen, Neidhartshausen, Stadtlengsfeld, Urnshausen, Zella / Rhön and the municipality of Diedorf , for which Kaltennordheim has been the fulfilling municipality up to now, were incorporated into Dermbach. For the other member communities as well as Empfertshausen , for which Kaltennordheim was also the fulfilling community, Dermbach became the fulfilling community.
