Kazakh TV (until September 2, 2012: CaspioNet) is the first satellite broadcaster in Kazakhstan and is operated by the Khabar news agency . The name "CaspioNet" reflects the intention of the broadcaster to broadcast information over the entire region of the Caspian Sea .
CaspioNet began broadcasting on October 25, 2002 and can be received in Europe , Central Asia , the Middle East and North Africa . In Germany, the program can also be received digitally ( DVB-C ) in some cable networks - e.g. B. in the networks of Unitymedia (encrypted) and NetCologne (unencrypted). CaspioNet's program is held in three languages: Kazakh , Russian and English . On September 2, 2012, the station was renamed Kazakh TV .
