Kazimieras Meškauskas

Kazimieras Meškauskas (born October 19, 1917 in Leliūnai, Ukmergė district , now Ukmergė Rajongemeinde ; † February 28, 2011 ) was a Lithuanian economist and professor .

Life

In 1930 Kazimieras Meškauskas graduated from the Leliūnai elementary school . From 1936 to 1938 he studied at the Salos agricultural school in the Rokiškis district . In 1942 he made the high school diploma with the commission at the Ministry of Education of Lithuania . In 1947 he graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas in Vilnius with a degree in economics . In 1962 he received his doctorate in economics . In 1962 he became a member of the Lietuvos mokslų akademija . From 1967 he taught as a professor.

He was married to Malvina Meškauskienė.
