Kazys Saja

Kazys Saja (born June 27, 1932 in Skėriai , Pasvalys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician and writer .

Life

Saja grew up with Pasvalys and after the death of her parents in Kaunas with her uncle's wife. After a year he lived in Vaištarai ( Plungė district ). In 1943 he graduated from the Paukštakiai elementary school near Plungė and from 1949 to 1952 the Klaipėda agricultural technical center . He wanted to become an architect and studied at the Technical University of Kaunas . After that, he wanted to study in the Department of Lithuanian Language and Literature at the Klaipėda Teachers Institute , but in 1954 he graduated from the Department of Nature and Geography . At that time he wrote his first play "Lažybos", which was performed in 1954 in the Klaipėda Drama Theater and in 1955 in Pärnu , Estonia . After that, Saja lived in Vilnius . He wanted to study at Vilnius University, but was not accepted. He studied philology at the Lithuanian University of Education . From 1990 to 1992 he was a member of the Seimas .
