Kea Eckermann (born December 25, 1994 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

society

Eckermann moved from TuS Obenstrohe to second division Werder Bremen in 2010 and was initially used in the local U-17 team, but was also used in the first team from March 2011. For the 2013/14 season she joined the Bundesliga promoted BV Cloppenburg, where she came on March 23, 2014 against 1. FFC Frankfurt for her first appearance in the top German division. On May 19, 2014 Eckermann signed with the newly promoted Herford SV , but tore a cruciate ligament on the penultimate Bundesliga matchday. The Herford SV then froze the contract with Eckermann and finally dissolved it in September 2014. After a twenty-month injury break and several operations, Eckermann took up a dual degree in health economics with a health insurance company and also returned to professional football. Since the beginning of 2016 she played again for BV Cloppenburg. After the end of her active career, she became an assistant trainer at BV Cloppenburg.

National team

In the 2010 calendar year, Eckermann played a total of eight international matches for the German U-16 and U-17 national team, the first of which on May 18 against France.

Personal

Eckermann attended high school Obervieland in the Bremen district Obervieland , where he made 2012 its Abitur. After graduating from high school, Eckermann started a distance learning Bachelor's degree in Sport Management (BA) at the distance learning center of the University of Wismar in 2013 .
