Keda ( Georgian ქედა ) is a minority town in the Adjara Autonomous Republic of Georgia .
It is the administrative center of the municipality of the same name . Keda is 41 kilometers east of Batumi on both sides of the Ajariszqali River . In 2014 the place had 1510 inhabitants. There are mineral water springs in Keda .
After the village had been the seat of a Rajon since the 1930s as a village , from which the later municipality emerged, it was given the status of an urban-type settlement in 1966 , corresponding to a present-day minor or small town (Georgian daba, დაბა ).
