Cornelis Johannes "Kees" Quax (born July 14, 1905 in The Hague ; †  March 18, 1973 ) was a Dutch football player . In 1926 he played three times for the national team .

Quax was goalkeeper for ADO Den Haag in the 1920s , with whom he rose to the first division in 1927. After Wim Tap , he was the club's second national player. As a second division player in 1925, he was the second keeper behind Gejus van der Meulen in the Elftal squad . In 1926 he was allowed to keep the gate in three consecutive games for van der Meulen. The first of these games took place in Düsseldorf . Against Germany there was a 2-4 defeat on April 18, 1926; Sepp Pöttinger and “Tull” Harder overcame Quax twice each. 14 days later the Netherlands occurred at home against Belgium on; with Quax in goal they lost 1: 5. Quax's third and last international match was not a good star either; in Copenhagen's Idrætsparken he had to reach behind him four more times; Denmark won 4-1 against Oranje ; three of the hits marked Viggo Jørgensen . After that, Quax sat on the Dutch bench again, but was not used again.
