Kehli ( Keli ) is a place on the Indonesian island of Damar . The place is on the east coast of the island, on the north bank of Solat Bay ( Teluk Solat ). To the north is the Wurlali volcano . Hot springs emerge near the beach, southwest of the volcano. Sulfur is also found here.

Kehli is a Desa with 1,134 inhabitants (2010). The people speak the Austronesian language East Damar ( Damar-Wulur ) as their mother tongue . Like the entire island, Kehli belongs to the Kecamatan (sub-district) Damar, Kabupaten (administrative district), southwestern Moluccas ( Maluku Barat Daya ), Maluku Province .

For years, the residents of Kehli and those from the neighboring southwestern town of Wulur were in dispute over the rights of use for the uninhabited, southern islands of Terbang Utara and Terbang Selatan and the surrounding waters. In 1986 a court ruled that this bulge was due.
