Keigo Minoshima ( Japanese 蓑 島 圭 悟 , Minoshima Keigo ; born August 24, 1996 ) is a Japanese ice hockey player who has been playing for the team of Chūō University in the Japan Ice Hockey League since 2014 .

Career

Keigo Minoshima began playing ice hockey at the Shirkaba Gakuen High School, for whose team he played in the Japan Ice Hockey League at the age of 16 . Since beginning his studies at Chūō University in 2014, he has played for their team.

International

For Japan, Minoshima took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in 2013 , when he was voted the best player of his team, and in 2014 and the U20 World Championship in 2015 in Division I.

For the Japanese men's team , he was active in Division I at the 2015 and 2017 World Championships . At the Winter Asian Games 2017 in Sapporo , he and his team took third place behind Kazakhstan and South Korea . He also took part in the Olympic qualification for the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang .
