content

The employee Narumi Momose surprisingly meets her childhood friend Hirotaka Nifuji, who is her new colleague, at work. Unfortunately, he immediately mentions that Narumi is an otaku and draws and sells dōjinshi herself , although she always hides it in the office. She has always been shunned in the past because of her hobby and believes that many problems come from this in her life. She never had a long relationship, because all men run away from her as soon as they find out about their passion. So she invites Hirotaka to convince him not to talk about it anymore. He suggests that she should become his girlfriend. He is a gamer himself and has no problem with her hobby. Despite the similar interests, the relationship turns out to be more difficult than expected, also because the two have known each other since early childhood. But through Hirotaka, Narumi also gets to know other colleagues who share her hobbies: Hanako Koyanagi and Tarō Kabakura, who, quite unlike their behavior in the office, are also a couple. The four often spend time together and shared hobbies. But it also shows how the preferences of the Otakus differ. After a while, Hirotaka's little brother Naoya keeps coming back to them, but he has little idea about games, manga and other things. That changes when he becomes friends with his quiet, withdrawn fellow student Kō Sakuragi, who like Hirotaka is a committed gamer.
