Keith Floyd
Keith Floyd (born December 28, 1943 in Reading , Berkshire , † September 14, 2009 in Bridport , Dorset ) was a British television chef, producer of cooking programs and author of cookbooks .
Life
After his training in Wellington (Somerset) he started as a journalist and radio presenter , before he worked as a TV chef. He became known for the extravagant style of his cooking programs, in which he demystified the culinary art from all over the world, especially from Australia , Spain , Italy and Africa .
In addition to his appearances as a television chef, he was not only the author of nineteen cookbooks such as The Best of Floyd (1995), but also the producer of cooking programs. In 2000 his autobiography was published under the title Out of the Frying Pan. Scenes from My Life .
