Keith Woodward (born January 18, 1951 ) is an American bi- and duathlete , cross-country skier , cross-country runner and canoe triathlete .

Keith Woodward from East Corinth works as a carpenter and maple syrup producer in the snow-free months of the year and as a snowcat driver in winter . He has been practicing biathlon since 1976. He qualified for the first time for the Summer Biathlon World Championships in 1998 in Osrblie , where he took fifth place in the relay race alongside Marc Sheppard , Shaun Marshall-Pryde and Erich Wilbrecht . It took another eight years until Woodward took part in the Summer Biathlon World Championships for the second time, now in Ufa , and reached 26th places in the sprint and pursuit. To theHe could not take part in the 2001 Summer Biathlon World Championships because the US team was withdrawn after the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11th that year. He narrowly missed participation in the 2009 World Cup in Oberhof against Jason Hettenbaugh .

In the duathlon Woodward was 13th at the 2008 World Championships in Rimini , and seventh in Concord in 2009 . So far (as of 2002) he has been five times (as of 2009) US champion in summer biathlon and cross-country skiing, twice in canoe triathlon and once in bicycle duathlon. He also won cross-country Masters races.
