Kelsey Marie Robinson (born June 25, 1992 in Elmhurst , Illinois ) is an American volleyball player . She became world champion in 2014 and won the Olympic bronze medal in 2016.

Career

Robinson began her career at the University of Tennessee in 2010 and played on the University of Nebraska team in 2013 . The attacker has been part of the US national team since 2014 , with which she won the World Cup in Italy in 2014 and the bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . They also won in 2015 the World Grand Prix and the NORCECA Championship and 2018 and 2019 the Nations League.

Robinson has also been active in various foreign clubs since 2014. She played in China with Beijing BAW, in Puerto Rico with Leonas de Ponce , in Italy with Imoco Volley Conegliano (2016 Italian champion, 2017 Italian cup winner) and in Turkey with VakıfBank Istanbul (2018 and 2019 Turkish champion, 2018 winner of the Champions League ) and at Fenerbahçe Istanbul since 2019 .

Robinson has been named "Best Attacker" and "Best Acceptance Player" several times.
