The Kemlower See is a lake in the Alt Sammit district of Krakow am See in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located entirely in the Nossentiner / Schwinzer Heide nature park .
The lake is located immediately south of the Krakow district of Alt Sammit between the Galgenberg (65 m above sea level) and the Schleusenberg (63 m above sea level). To the east of the Kemlower See are the Langsee , the Alte Dorfsee and the Derliener See .
The water has a size of 8.5 hectares with a circumference of 1.45 kilometers. The elongated lake makes a bend to the east in the south, so that a small headland protrudes into the lake. A forest area adjoins it in the south.
