Ken Lorraway

Ken Lorraway (actually Kenneth John Lorraway; born February 6, 1956 in Wagga Wagga , † January 4, 2007 in Canberra ) was an Australian three and long jumper .

In 1978 he was fourth in the triple jump and eighth in the long jump at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton .

At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, he came in eighth place in the triple jump .

In the triple jump he won silver at the Pacific Conference Games in 1981 and was sixth at the World Athletics Cup in Rome . At the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane he won silver, and at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles he was eliminated from the qualification.

From 1980 to 1984 he was five times in a row Australian champion in the triple jump.

Ken Lorraway was married to the long jumper Robyn Strong .
