Ken Noel (born January 9, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .
Club career
Youth career
Noel began his career at Floridsdorfer AC before moving to the youth team of the neighboring SV Gerasdorf / Stammersdorf. There he developed into an exceptionally talented player who made it very well known within Vienna. In 2007 Gerasdorf could no longer keep his "rough diamond" and Noel switched to the St. Pölten Academy .
In his first year in St. Pölten, he was the top scorer in the U-15 Toto youth league with 20 goals this season. A year later he was called up to the U-17 team of St. Pölten, with whom he immediately celebrated the runner-up title in the Toto youth league. Noel contributed 9 goals this season. When he scored 16 championship goals for St. Pölten by winter 2008 and was the undisputed top scorer in the youth league, an offer from FC Admira Wacker Mödling followed , which he accepted. From 2005 to 2008 he played a total of 53 league games with 45 goals for AKA.
Professional football
Mödling, who with David Mihaly also signed his strike partner from St. Pölten, equipped him with a young professional contract and offered him the prospect of A-team games. First, however, he should prove himself in the amateur team in the Regionalliga Ost. He made his debut on April 12, 2008 in a 0-0 draw against SK Rapid Wien Amateure . In his fourth game he made people sit up and take notice for the first time when he showed an outstanding performance in the 5-1 against ASK Baumgarten and scored three goals. For the 2008/09 season he was subsequently included in the Admira's senior team by coach Walter Schachner . At the same time, however, he was still alternately in the Regionalliga Ost for the amateurs.
At the age of 17, he then made his debut in the First League in a 2-2 draw against SKN St. Pölten . Substituted in the 62nd minute, he saved the team with a goal in the 69th minute a point. By the end of the season, 10 more appearances for the A-team should follow. Due to the oversupply of strikers who were in the Bundesliga experienced squad of Admiral, he came to modest deployment times.
As a result of conspicuous performances in the junior teams in Austria, he was invited to a trial training session by Brescia Calcio in June 2009 . During this trial session, he was able to convince before he broke his metatarsal bone. As a result, there were lengthy transfer negotiations as Brescia did not want to take any risks due to his long injury. In August 2009, Admira officially announced the transfer of Noel to Lombardy . In the end, it was possible to agree on a loan agreement for one year including a purchase option. At the club known as a talent factory, Noel was originally intended for Serie B , but until his final recovery he was to be used in the club's Primavera.
Noel followed in big footsteps at Markus Schopp's ex-club , having trained talents like Marek Hamšík or Savio Nsereko in recent years and sold them at high prices . However, after he was not fit for the entire first half of the season, and was not used in the professional team or in the Primavera, he returned to his home club FC Trenkwalder Admira in Austria during the winter break of 2009/2010 .
In January 2011 it was announced that Noel was signed by LASK Linz .
After six months in which he was only used in the amateur team, he moved to the Regionalliga Ost to the FAC team for Vienna .
National team
During his time in St. Pölten, he was called up for the Austrian U-17 national team . Games for the U-18 national team followed .
Most recently he was an integral part of Austria's U-19 selection .
