Ken Terauchi ( Japanese 寺内 健 , Terauchi Ken ; born August 7, 1980 in Takarazuka ) is a Japanese diver . He starts in artificial jumping from the 1-m and 3-m board and formerly also in 10-m tower diving.
Terauchi has so far participated in four Olympic Games and always reached the final in all competitions, but could not win a medal. In 1996 in Atlanta he was tenth on the 10-meter tower, in 2000 in Sydney on the 3-meter board and fifth on the 10-meter tower, in 2004 in Athens on the 3-meter board again, and in 2008 in Beijing on the 3-meter board. m-board eleventh.
He celebrated his greatest sporting success so far at the 2001 home world championships in Fukuoka . He won the bronze medal from the 3-meter board.
