Kenamuke swamp
The Kenamuke Swamp is a swamp area in Boma National Park in southeastern South Sudan .
It is located in the south of the state of Jonglei , near the Ethiopian border, around 300 km northeast of Juba , the capital of South Sudan.
It extends lengthways in a valley, has an area of 100 km², borders directly on the Kobowen swamp in the south and is dominated by alluvial forest vegetation. Via its outflow Kangen it drains north into the Sobat , a tributary of the White Nile .
