Kenan Hasagić (born February 1, 1980 in Kakanj ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football goalkeeper .

Career

society

Hasagić started playing football in his hometown at FK Rudar Kakanj . There he also made his professional debut in the Bosnian first division at the age of 16. Hasagić played for the youth national teams of Bosnia and was considered the greatest goalkeeper talent in the country. For the 1998 season, the keeper moved to Vorwärts Steyr in Austria . After one season, he left Steyr for Turkey , where he hired at Altay Izmir . Hasagić played 42 games in two years. But in 2001 the Bosnian returned to his hometown club FK Rudar Kakanj in Bosnia-Herzegovina. After playing there for half a year, he spent the second half of the 2001/02 season at Bosna Visoko . For the next season Hasagić signed again with another club, this time with FK Željezničar Sarajevo . At the top club he developed thanks to good performances to the goalkeeper and therefore made his debut on February 12, 2003 in the national team of the country against Wales . He was also a regular goalkeeper in the national team and is so until today, apart from brief interruptions. After two playing years at Željezničar Hasagić went back to the Turkish Süper Lig to Gaziantepspor . He stayed there until 2007 and was a regular goalkeeper. Eventually he moved to Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor . His ninth club station is his longest so far, even if he is no longer a regular goalkeeper.

After Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor missed relegation in the Süper Lig in the summer of 2013 , Hasagic's contract was terminated by mutual agreement in August 2013.

In the summer of 2014 he should return to Turkey and sign with the Süper Lig promoted Balıkesirspor . This change did not materialize in the end.
