Kenneth Dahl Knudsen
Kenneth Dahl Knudsen (born June 26, 1984 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish jazz musician ( double bass , composition ).

Dahl Knudsen, who grew up in Arden in North Jutland , discovered the double bass at the age of 15. He studied at Det Kongelige Danske Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen.
After his debut album Strings Attached , the album Clockstopper was released in 2012 , both of which were critically acclaimed . The album We'll Meet in the Rain followed in 2016 . He worked with his own groups such as the large-format Kenneth Dahl Knudsen Orchestra, but also with The World Citizen Band , the Kayan Duo and the trios of Gauthier Toux and Eyal Lovett ( Tales from a Forbidden Land , 2016). He has also performed with Dick Oatts , John Scofield , Gilad Hekselman , Jason Marsalis , Søren Møller, Uffe Steen , Andrew D'Angelo , Jan Kaspersen , Salvador Olmos, Nicola Pisani and Tomasz Dąbrowski .
With the trio of Gauthier Toux, he won the La Défense Jazz Festival competition in 2016 .
