Kenneth Pinyan

Kenneth Pinyan (born June 22, 1960 , † July 2, 2005 in Enumclaw , Washington , United States ) was an American engineer who became famous for the bizarre circumstances surrounding his death. Pinyan died of a perforated bowel after having had passive anal intercourse with a stallion ( zoophilia ).

Pinyan had under the pseudonym "Mr. Hands “ produced hundreds of videos with animal pornography over a longer period of time together with other people .

While having sex with a stallion on a King County farm , filmed by a friend of Pinyan's, Pinyan suffered a perforated bowel that resulted in peritonitis . Pinyan's friend drove him to a hospital, where only the man's death could be determined. The driver had fled in the meantime, but could be identified by a photo of his license plate number.

The incident became known nationwide, according to The Seattle Times . The online article was the newspaper's most widely read article in 2005.

The cameraman who recorded the incident should initially be charged with animal cruelty . However, there was no evidence of "torturing" the animals on the videos. Since there was no law against animal pornography in Washington State at the time, he was only charged with trespassing. The owner of the farm was previously unaware of the visitors' actions. The man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year probation, a $ 300 fine, and one day of community service.

The case led to the amendment of the Animal cruelty in the first degree law in Washington State in June 2006. This made sexual contact with animals punishable and also helpers, animal owners and photographers or filmmakers were explicitly included.

An animal sex video with Pinyan spread online after the incident, but has been deleted from many video sites due to its offensive content. In return, hundreds of Mr. Hands Reaction Videos or Horse Sex Reaction Videos spread , in which viewers of the videos recorded their reactions to what was shown.

Pinyan's life story and the circumstances surrounding his death were portrayed in the 2007 documentary Zoo by director Robinson Devor . The film was shown at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival . In Germany, the film was released in 2011 as part of the Kino controvers series .
