Kenneth Heiner-Møller (* 17th January 1971 as Kenneth Christiansen ) is a Danish football coach and former football player .
Career
As a player
His playing career began in the youth of B 1903 Copenhagen . He later moved to the second division club Ølstykke FC before joining the Hungarian club Ferencváros Budapest in 1994 . In Hungary he was once champion and twice cup winner. In 1996 he returned to Denmark and played for B 1903 Copenhagen, Aarhus GF and Vejle BK . In total, he played over 250 games in the Danish first division.
As a trainer
From 2002 Heiner-Møller worked as a trainer. First he took over the U-18 team from B.93 Copenhagen before moving to Brøndby IF . In 2005 he took over Brøndby's women's team and led the team to the championship and cup. A year later, Heiner-Møller was coach of the national team, with which he was second in the 2007 and 2008 Algarve Cup . After the EM 2013 , in which he reached the semifinals with Denmark, he resigned from his post, as announced in February 2013.
On January 8, 2018, Heiner-Møller was appointed coach of the Canadian women's national football team , after the previous coach John Herdman took over the Canadian men.
Personal
Heiner-Møller also works as a psychologist and as a teacher at a sports school. He is married and took his wife's name.
