Kenny Håkansson (born November 25, 1972 ) is a Swedish rock musician who became known as the bassist for the band The Hellacopters .

Life

Together with his childhood friend Nicke Andersson , he was a fan of the bands Kiss , The Stooges , Ramones , Sex Pistols , The Damned and The Rolling Stones . Håkansson wrote some songs for the band Entombed , which Andersson co-founded as a drummer.

The Hellacopters

While Andersson was still at Entombed, the two formed the Hellacopters with Dregen , who was taking a break from his band Backyard Babies , and Robert Eriksson .

In 1995 the first single Killing Allan was released on their own label Psychout Records, followed in 1996 by the first album Supershitty to the Max . With the Hellacopters, Håkansson mainly played the electric bass, but could also be heard on the guitar and in the background vocals. The band determined at the time with some other the punk 'n' roll scene in Sweden and was active until 2008, when they after seven studio albums , toured Europe, the US and Australia, where they also support act for bands like Rolling Stones, KISS and ZZ Top were, disbanded.
