Kent Peninsula is a large peninsula, almost entirely surrounded by water, in the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut on the north coast of mainland Canada .

From a narrow isthmus , the peninsula protrudes 170 km to the west into the Coronation Gulf . To the north, Dease Strait separates the peninsula from Victoria Island and the Finlayson Islands . Northwest of the peninsula is the Queen Maud Gulf . Melville Sound , Parry Bay and Elu Inlet are between the Kent Peninsula and the mainland. Cape Flinders is the westernmost point on the peninsula. There are many nameless lakes and rivers on the peninsula.

Historically, the Umingmuktogmiut subgroup of the Copper Inuit had a permanent settlement on the west coast of the peninsula.
