Kenta Matsudaira ( Japanese 松 平 健 太 , Matsudaira Kenta ; born April 11, 1991 in Nanao , Ishikawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese table tennis player .
successes
Kenta Matsudaira achieved first international successes at the Asian Youth Championships in 2005 and 2006 when she won the individual title. In 2007 he won the team competition here. In 2006 he was World Youth Champion in Cairo.
At the Asian Championships for adults, he took silver with the team in 2007 and 2009. In 2007 he was nominated for the world championship for the first time . With the Japanese team, he finished third in 2010 .
At the Japanese Table Tennis Championship 2009, held in January 2010, he won the mixed together with Kasumi Ishikawa . The following year he won the men's doubles title together with Kōki Niwa , which he was able to repeat at the 2012 tournament in January 2013.
From 2008 to 2010 Kenta Matsudaira played in the German Bundesliga at TTC Frickenhausen , to which he returned in 2012 for a year. He will compete in the 2019 Champions League with the Croatian club STK Starr Croatia .

Kenta Matsudaira's two year older brother Kenji is also a Japanese table tennis international. His sister Shiho has been playing in the women's Bundesliga at Ttc Berlin Eastside since 2017 .
