Kentaro Haneda
Kentarō Haneda , called Haneken , ( Japanese 羽 田 健 太郎 , Haneda Kentarō ; born January 12, 1949 in Tokyo ; † June 2, 2007 in Shinjuku , Tokyo) was a Japanese composer and piano player , who was known mainly because of his anime , film and video game music is known.
In 1981 he was nominated for a Japanese Academy Award in the category Best Music for the score for the feature film Fukkatsu no Hi (German title: Overkill - Through Hell to Eternity ) from 1980. He also composed the score for the anime series Treasure Island (1978) and for both anime adaptations of Barefoot by Hiroshima (1982, 1986).
He died on June 2, 2007 of hepatocellular carcinoma at the age of 58.
