Kerstin Brandt

Kerstin Brandt (* 9. December 1961 in Wismar as Kerstin Dedner ) is a former German high jumper who for the DDR started.

Life

She became Junior European Champion in 1979 . At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1982 in Milan she was fourth and at the 1983 World Championships in Helsinki fifth.

In 1982 she was GDR indoor champion, 1989 indoor runner-up. In the open air she was third at the GDR championships in 1979, 1987 and 1988.

Kerstin Brandt started for the SC Empor Rostock . In the documents on state doping in the GDR that became public after the fall of the Wall , the name of Brandt was also found among the doped athletes.
