Kerstin Schulte Tockhaus (born January 24, 1989 in Herdecke ) is a German theater actress .

Childhood and youth

Kerstin Schulte Tockhaus is the daughter and second child of the teacher Walter Schulte Tockhaus and the educator Edeltraud Schulte Tockhaus. Already in her youth she played in several amateur drama groups and decided early on for an acting career. In 2010 she started her acting studies at the Zurich University of the Arts , which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2012 . During her training she worked with the director and actor Herbert Fritsch , among others .

Career

Kerstin Schulte Tockhaus first worked in a private theater production and toured the United Kingdom to introduce school children to the German language through acting. Afterwards she played as Eva in Benefiz - Everyone Save an African, her first role for the big stage in the evening program at the Lüneburg Theater . At the Badische Landesbühne in Bruchsal , she got an insight into the world of children's and youth theater during the 2015/2016 season. There she played in numerous productions and had, among other things, the leading role in the classic children's play The Red Zora and Her Gang and as Anne Frank in the play Anne Frank Diary . Prices

For the play Bluthochzeit , Kerstin Schulte Tockhaus and the ensemble received a prize for their performance at the meeting of German-speaking drama students in Vienna in 2012 .
