Keslie Ann Tomlinson

Keslie Ann Tomlinson (born July 27, 1981 in Akron ) is an American skeleton driver .

Keslie Ann Tomlinson lives in Potomac Falls and studied at Denison University where she got her BA in Sports Management and at Northwestern University where she followed up with her Masters. She is trained by Orvie Garrett . She has been running skeleton since 2003 and has been part of the US national team since 2004. She made her debut in the Skeleton America's Cup in the 2004/05 season . She contested her first race in Calgary , where she finished seventh. In all six races in the series, she was among the top ten. In the following season she competed in the Skeleton European Cup and achieved fourth place as the best result in Igls and at Königssee . Tomlinson missed qualifying for the 2006 Winter Olympics . In the 2006/07 season, the American competed in both the America's Cup (second in Lake Placid ) and the European Cup (fourth in Cesana Pariol ). At the US championships she was sixth. In 2007/08 Tomlinson qualified for the newly created Intercontinental Skeleton Cup . Here she drove all six races and finished sixth in the overall standings. In addition, she drove in several races in the Europe and America's Cup and achieved a second place in Calgary. She won the title at the US championships for the first time in 2008 and made her debut in the Skeleton World Cup in February of that year in Winterberg in eleventh place .
