Kester Schlenz

Kester Schlenz (born February 27, 1958 in Kiel ) is a German writer and journalist .

Life

Schlenz studied linguistics and psychology in Hamburg and worked as a freelance journalist alongside his studies . He worked as an editor for the film magazine Cinema and in 1989 switched to the women's magazine Brigitte , where he was responsible for the “Culture & Entertainment” department for six years. He then worked for nine years in his own capacity for the weekly magazine Stern , for which he now works as a permanent writer.

In addition to his work as an editor, Schlenz published several novels and non-fiction books , including the book for parents-to-be, Mensch, Papa! , and the bestselling Alter Sack, now what? , Go ahead, old bastard! and mom breaks down .

He lives with his wife in a suburb of Hamburg and has two sons.
