Keudelbach

Keudelbach is a desert in the west of the municipality of Kirchheim in the district of Hersfeld-Rotenburg in northern Hesse .

The settlement was located on previously precisely identified point in Frielinger reason, probably north of Frielingen in the valley of Kissel Bach , probably at about 50 ° 51 '43 "  N , 9 ° 32' 28"  O .

history

The place is mentioned for the first time in 1388 and was already desolate in 1427. It was owned by the Hersfeld Abbey as a feudal lord , belonged to the Niederaula court and was usually lent , together with Heiligenborn and Armederode , as an accessory to a castle seat in Hattenbach or a manor originally associated with it in Frielingen. He came to the Landgraviate of Hessen-Kassel in 1648 with the secularized Principality of Hersfeld .
