David Lee (sound engineer, 1958)

David Lee (* 6. September 1958 ) is an Australian sound engineer known for his work on the Matrix - trilogy is known. Lee was at the Academy Awards in 2000 with the Oscar for Best Sound at Matrix excellent and was at the Oscars in 2015 for an Oscar in the same category for Unbroken nominated. He also won a British Academy Film Award for Best Sound with Matrix in 2000 . He shared the Oscar 2000 with his colleagues John T. Reitz , Gregg Rudloff and David E. Campbell , the British Academy Film Award was also given to Dave A. Davis . In addition to Lee, Jon Taylor and Frank A. Montaño were nominated for the 2015 Oscar for Unbroken . Lee has been active since the early 1980s and has been involved in more than 40 film and television productions.
