Kevin Deden (born February 25, 1984 in Tönisvorst ) is a former German tennis player .

Life

Deden started playing tennis at the age of four. Among the juniors, his best placement in the world rankings was position 334 in 2002. He played ten years in the tennis Bundesliga with TV von 1926 Osterath , Solingen Tennis Club 1902 and TC Blau-Weiss Neuss . He was twice in a row in the final of the German tennis championship . In 2009 he lost to Cedrik-Marcel Stebe , the following year he failed after victories against Andreas Beck and Jan-Lennard Struff to Peter Gojowczyk .

He reached his highest ranking in the tennis world rankings in 2009 with position 398 in singles and position 480 in doubles. Between 2005 and 2010 he won six double titles on the ITF Future Tour ; three of them at the side of Martin Emmrich , one each with Bastian Knittel , Dustin Brown and Sascha Klör. On the ATP Challenger Tour he was unable to assert himself in the course of his career, in his few appearances he was usually eliminated in the first round. His greatest successes were participation in the round of 16 at the tournaments in Mönchengladbach 2003 and 2004, Aschaffenburg 2004, Düsseldorf 2008 and Fürth 2010.

Deden is a state-certified tennis teacher and has been a trainer at TC Blau-Weiss Neuss since 2012.
