Kevin Nennhuber (born April 11, 1988 in Essen , Germany ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Kevin Nennhuber grew up in Essen and started playing football in the youth departments of FC Schalke 04 , Rot-Weiss Essen and VfL Bochum . In June 2007 he moved from the Bochum U-19 team to Hammer SpVg . For the 2007/08 season he moved to the then third division Kickers Emden , for whom he played ten games.
After Kickers Emden's license was withdrawn, Nennhuber moved to SV Wilhelmshaven for the 2009/10 season . After only half a year he returned to Emden.
For the 2011/12 season, Nennhuber moved to BV Cloppenburg . After a year in Cloppenburg , he moved to 1. FC Magdeburg . On May 21, 2014, Nennhuber announced his departure from Magdeburg .
For the 2014/15 season, Nennhuber moved to regional league club VfB Germania Halberstadt and a year later to FSV Wacker 90 Nordhausen . In the winter break of 2016/17 he joined the southwest regional division SV Waldhof Mannheim . In May 2018 he announced his departure from Mannheim and switched to the newly founded FC Gießen .
In January 2020, Nennhuber left Gießen for KSV Hessen Kassel with a contract term for the Hessen and Regionalliga until summer 2022.
Personal
Since autumn 2011 he has been in a relationship with the soccer player Jackie Cruz from Magdeburg's FFC , whom he met during his time at BV Cloppenburg . At this point, Cruz played in the Cloppenburg women's football team .
