Kevin Still

Kevin Raymond Still (born August 19, 1960 in Eureka , California ) is a retired American rower . He won an Olympic bronze medal in 1984.

Life

Kevin Still graduated from UCLA in 1983 . In his last year of study he entered the rowing world championships in 1983 with the four-man without a helmsman and took sixth place. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles he competed with Robert Espeseth and helmsman Douglas Herland in two with helmsman and won the bronze medal behind the boats from Italy and Romania.

At the World Rowing Championships in 1985 and 1986 he won the bronze medal with the US eight . In 1988 Still entered the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul with Glenn Florio in a double scull , but did not reach the semi-finals, but was eliminated in the hope run.

After his active career, Still first worked in the real estate industry, later he switched to an insurance broker for the Marsh & McLennan Companies , where he worked in the Japanese business.
