Kevin Tighe

Kevin Tighe (born August 13, 1944 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

Life

He began his film career in 1967 with a role in the film Narcotics: Pit of Despair . This is followed primarily by appearances as a supporting actor in television series such as Bonanza .

Tighe became known to a wider audience through his role as Roy DeSoto in the 1972-1979 television series Emergency Call California . In this role he was dubbed in the German version by Michael Lott . He also directed four episodes for the series. After the end of Emergency California , he mainly played supporting roles in more famous films. So he was u. a. the antagonist of James Belushi in My Cold Snouted Partner .

For his role in Tough Man in Uniform , Tighe was recognized in the 1993 Genie Awards , the most important awards for Canadian films, in the category of Best Supporting Actor.

In 1996, Tighe took on the role of the murder victim Herbert W. Clutter in the two-part television film Kaltblütig , the film adaptation of Truman Capote's bestselling novel In Cold Blood . Tighe also starred in the television series Lost as Anthony Cooper.

His daughter Jennifer Tighe is also an actress.
